What we offer

Security Consultation

Based in Bloomington, Indiana we provide consultation services with the goal of providing you information that you can use to increase your safety and security. Our standard consultation is a one hour, casual meeting during which we will listen to you and provide usable information that addresses your specific needs. We do not follow a script or curriculum; our consultations are entirely unique to each client. The cost of a standard consultation is $99*.

We also provide custom consultation services. Some clients schedule multiple sessions or longer sessions. Some clients contract us for specific services related to their consultations.

We DO NOT offer any live fire firearms training or instruction or any legal advice in the use of firearms. However, we do offer firearms consultation. Some clients consult with us regarding the decision to purchase a firearm. Others seek consultation on basic firearm operation and use after acquiring a firearm. We consider any firearm-specific consultation a custom service.

Being Prepared. Being prepared for emergencies is of fundamental importance. But what emergencies? What skills and supplies do you need? What does “being prepared” even mean, and how would you know when you are “prepared?”
Personal and/or Home Defense. Uncertain and changing times can cause feelings of concern if not outright fear. Combined with an overwhelming amount of bad information on the internet, these feelings can lead to unreasonable, unrealistic, and sometimes dangerous attempts to “defend” yourself and your home.
Firearms. Recently hundreds of thousands of people have seriously considered owning, or have become new owners of, a firearm. Guns can be intimidating and it can be very difficult to find accurate information on them. Forget the internet, and some of the worst advice about guns can be heard at gun shops.

Indiana Security Consulting provides consulting services for your safety and security needs. We do not provide security guard or protective services. We do not sell any products and are not affiliated with any outside companies. We are not political, militaristic, or “tactical.” We believe that everyone, in their everyday life, can benefit from increasing their safety and security. We will listen to you, understand your needs, and provide basic, real-world, and usable information that will help you increase your safety and security.
